The Art Ninja Project

Earlier last year, we received an email from a woman about our project. She had stumbled across it while searching online for images, and took notice of our Art Ninja logo. She and a group of family and friends were planning on running a charity race for the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research. They had a pretty large team, and they decided they wanted to be called the pink ninjas. They were looking to make custom T shirts for their team. She asked if they could take our logo, change the colors a bit, and use it for their team shirts. We were more than happy to allow them to use our design, and were delighted that our project was able to help another charity, even if in a non-direct way. Here are a couple of photos of their team at the event. They ended up winning 3rd place...way to go Pink Ninjas!

We have now reached the end our or ATC sharing project, and we thank every artist who has generously donated their time to making cards. We appreciate it more than you know.

We would also like to thank everyone one that has responded to the cards they have received so far. I won't be gathering up most of the project info until the 3rd week of August, so please, if you have not already done so, leave a comment at any time.

We didn't quite get the results and responses that we had hoped for, but we kept our hopes up. We also didn't reach our minimum goal of 50 cards to be made...we came close with 45 cards, so we have decided to increase the donation amount per card from 50 cents to $ 1.00 , for a total of $ 45.00 which will be donated to MOKA.

Again, keep the comments rolling in...even if they don't arrive in time for the final report, I would still like to hear from you anyway.
